JAKARTA – Kabaharkam Polri Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto expressed his pride that all workers who produce defense equipment are local workers.
Then 80 percent of the raw materials for defense equipment also come from our own country.
"The Indonesian nation has extraordinary potential in producing defense equipment," said Kabaharkam Polri Komjen Pol Agus Andrianto, when together with Barhakam Polri officials visited PT. Nusantara Perkasa Bonded Netting and PT. Ridho Agung Mitra Abadi which is located on Jl. kapuk kamal raya No.32, Kamal Muara, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, today, Wednesday (18/11/2020).
The visit was intended to understand the production process of defense and security equipment used by the TNI and Polri to support their duties.
"Our nation is extraordinary, (the production of defense equipment) the workers are all Indonesian, the local content is close to 80 percent. "Of course, this is our shared dream," he said at the location of the visit.
Agus explained that the two companies had long been partners with the TNI and Polri in providing defense equipment.
And during the Covid-19 pandemic, production of defense equipment at the two companies is still very busy.
According to him, this means that both of them have sufficient orders from the defense ministry, the TNI and the police.
"Thank God, my colleagues must have come together earlier. "In the current situation, work, the quality of work is still very solid, they are working," he concluded. (yono/tri)
